My place is fabulous because:

1. The area:
In Berlin, a hood is called a Kiez and my Kiez is the Schillerkiez. It's a wonderful mix with hipster bars, fancy restaurants, ethnic shops and many many nice cafes. We got the best backery in town with the best croissants of Berlin! Most importantly, the Tempelhofer Feld is just 2 blocks away, giving you easy access to nature, relaxation or a place for outdoor sports.

2. The apartment:
It's a fully equipped and freshly renovated pace with 2 rooms and a hotel-style bathroom. The windows are to the south, so you can sip a coffee in the sun, but the sun is not falling into the apartment too much, so it's nicely cool during the summer. I will also leave you my workstation with a mechanic standing desk and 2 monitors as well as most importantly a ventilator!

3. The metro connections:
In Berlin, travelling distances are good, if below 30 min. It's a big city. Metro station U Leinestr ist 2 min walking distance. From there you get to the Eastern center of Berlin in <20 min, Eastern party areas in ~30 min. The ring trains are 1 metro station (or 15 min walking) away giving you easy access to the rest of the city. The popular Bergmannkiez is ~20 min away with the metro. At that point a bike might be more useful though.

The space

I'll just make a list:

• Tempelhofer Feld and all the freedom it gives you (relaxing, sunbathing, sports, grilling, meeting friends)
• Best croissants and bread in town @ Gorilla
• Awesome cafes @ m|a, @ soulcafe, @ Engels, ...
• Franco-Italian cheese and wine @ Camidi
• Natural wines @ Treat & @ Das Schwarze Glas
• Hispter cocktail bars @ Savo & @ Fräullein Langer
• Ethnic shops (arab, turkish, asian), butcher and fishmonger next door for elaborate cooking
• Some of the best kebabs @mehas
• Farmers market 2 blocks away, every Saturday
• ...

House Rules

- the floor is actual wood and should not make long contact with liquids of any kind - please wash them away asap
- parties are ok (its a young neighbourhood), but if neighbours complain, please comply with their requests - there are many bars around should your entourage need to leave
- no pets, sorry, I love them too

Things to know

- the neighbourhood is cool, but also ethnic - this is not the calmest and most orderly place of Berlin - I have never experienced a lack of safety though
- you would be staying as a guests at my place, hence an official registration is not possible
