From our founder:
Our journey began with a simple vision: to create a space where remote work meets authentic travel experiences. Like many, I needed a change during covid. So, I thought, why not work remotely? Sun, beaches, and food—Greece seemed like the perfect escape.
However, it was far from perfect. Despite Greece’s beauty, the rental was overpriced, the internet was unreliable, and the workspace was anything but comfortable. I returned home to dead plants, a frustrated boss, and a stretched bank account. I knew there had to be a better way to combine work and travel.
That’s when nKoto Remote was born—a community-driven home exchange platform that puts remote workers at the centre. We want people to truly connect with new places, live like locals, and meet people with the same love for exploration. We’re here to make it easy for you to live, work, and thrive anywhere in the world.
